Hattrick — Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By creating a Hattrick account you agree to these terms. Hattrick is run by its founders in Amman, Jordan. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hattrick.
2. What Hattrick is — and isn't
Hattrick helps you find football fields, reserve time slots, join pickup games, form teams, and arrange matches.
We are not the field. Hattrick is a booking and matchmaking platform. The football fields are owned and run by independent businesses. We don't own, operate, inspect, or control any field, and we're not a party to your arrangement with the venue.
3. Payment happens at the venue
Hattrick does not process payments. You pay the field directly, by whatever means they accept. The app shows a booking as unpaid until the venue owner marks it paid — that label reflects what the owner told us, and is not proof of payment either way. Any dispute about money is between you and the venue.
Prices shown in the app are set by the venue and may change.
4. Bookings and cancellations
- Booking a slot reserves it for you, subject to the venue's own rules.
- You can cancel an upcoming booking in the app, which releases the slot for others. Whether you owe anything after cancelling is between you and the venue — their cancellation policy applies, not ours.
- Venues may cancel or change bookings. We'll pass on what we're told, but we can't guarantee a field will be available.
5. Pickup games and matches
- Joining a pickup game is a commitment to other players. Repeatedly signing up and not showing up may get your account restricted.
- When two teams agree a match, both captains can submit the score. If the two submissions differ, the result is marked disputed and the field owner may settle it. Owner decisions are final for the purposes of team records.
- Deliberately reporting false results may get your team's record reset or your account restricted.
6. Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@playhattrick.com if you think someone else has access.
Venue owner accounts are created by us and issued a temporary password, which must be changed on first sign-in.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post (team names, reviews, scores). By posting it you give us permission to display it in the app.
Don't post anything false, abusive, hateful, or that impersonates someone else. Reviews should reflect a real experience at that field — we only allow reviews from people who actually booked and played there. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
8. Playing football is at your own risk
This one matters. Football is a physical activity with real risk of injury. Hattrick doesn't supervise games, vet players, or inspect facilities. You play at your own risk, and you're responsible for your own fitness, insurance, and safety. Any claim about injury, facility condition, or another player's conduct is between you and the venue or person involved.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Jordanian law, Hattrick is provided "as is". We're not liable for: injuries during games, disputes with venues or other players, a venue cancelling or failing to honour a booking, payment disputes, or service interruptions.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Profile → Delete my account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Jordan have jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Hattrick afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
